As a session musician for Goldspot (Universal UK) and composer Siddhartha Khosla, and a co-writer with David Kushner, he built his craft in rooms where the takes had to count and the egos checked at the door. Years of that teaches you two things: what actually moves people, and how rarely anyone has the nerve to do it plainly.
His solo work is the payoff. Songs about love, family, and holding onto your integrity when the world keeps handing you reasons not to. No studio tricks standing in for feeling, no lyrics written to sound deep. He writes like someone who's watched a hundred songs get built and knows exactly which parts are load-bearing.
